
New Delhi: MG Motor India has confirmed the launch date of the MG ZS EV 2022 in India on March 7. The updated version of the new MG ZS EV will come with a larger battery to cover more distance in a single charge. The booking for the car has been started and the delivery to people will be begun later in March.
In the last two years, ZS EV owners have saved ~70 lac kg of CO2, equivalent to planting 42000 trees.

MG ZS EV facelift battery and range
The facelift version of the ZS EV will feature the biggest battery ever. The new car will come with a 51kWh battery, while the earlier model was equipped with a 44.5kWh battery. The front-axle-mounted electric motor will produce 143hp and 355Nm. However, more details about the change under the skin will be revealed at the time of launch.

MG ZS EV 2022 supports a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the older 8.0-inch unit. Moreover, it will come with a new 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster. One will get ADAS functionality and a 360-degree camera.
The climate control buttons are said to be new and similar to those available in the Astor. The company has provided a new faux carbon-fiber trim around the dashboard.
What’s new on the Exterior front on MG ZS EV facelift
Notably, MG Motor launched MG ZS EV facelift in October last year globally. On the exterior front, it will have a new body-coloured, blanked-off frontal section instead of the treaditional grille, a new front and rear bumpers. The 17-inch alloy wheels also come with a unique design. However, the charging port will be available behind the MG logo on the front grille area.
MG ZS EV 2022 is likely to come between Rs 25 lakh to 30 lakh (ex-shoroom).
