New MG Hector confirmed to launch soon; company teases interior design 

Ahead of the launch of a new SUV, MG Motor India released a new video to tease the new interior design of the next generation of Hector.

New Delhi: Ahead of the launch of a new SUV, MG Motor India released a new video to tease the new interior design of the next generation of Hector. The company released a 14-second long teaser on Twitter, giving a brief overview of the car from the inside. The company wrote in the caption the design of the updated Hector SUV will offer an immersive experience with handcrafted textures, soft-touch tactile, and versatile ambiance.

The short video released by MG Hector shows a double-layered design with horizontally positioned D-shaped AC vents, a vertical infotainment system, MG Motor logo on the steering. The colours for the seats depending on the variant you choose.

According to the reports, the update Hector will come with a 14-inch HD touchscreen set-up. Moreover, the car will feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. The leaked design suggests the car will get a new front bumper and a little bit of repositioned headlamps.

Among the safety feature, the car may get Advanced Driver (ADAS), lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning.

New MG Hector engine and price detail

The market experts say the new MG car will not get new on the engine front. The car will continue to be powered by a 1,5-litre petrol engine. The diesel unit of the car produces 170hp while the petrol engine churns out 143hp.

As per the reports, the car will cost around Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
