New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices have witnessed a sky-rocketing hike in recent days. Seeing the difficulty experienced by commoners, the Centre and the state announced excise cuts. The Centre has announced a cut in the price of petrol by Rs 5 per litre and Rs 10 per litre in diesel.

Following a dual tax cut across most parts of the country, the prices of petrol and diesel remained constant on November 6.
