New Delhi: The dream car project of Tata Motors’ owner Ratan Tata, Tata Nano is set to make another entry into the market with new design and features. Tata Nano will soon be launched in an electric avatar in India, according to reports. Considering the growth in the electric vehicle segment, the company has planned to launch the EV one again.

The new Tata Nano is projected to come with a 72v lithium-Ion battery. The battery is likely to deliver a range of 160 km on a single charge. It can reach 0-60 kph in 10 seconds. Notably, the petrol version of the four-seater car was discontinued in 2018 due to low demand.

The booking of the new Avatar of Tata Nano will commence after its launch. One will be able to book the car from the official website of Tata Nano EV Cars.
As far as the price is concerned, Tata Nano will be sold between the price bracket of 2-3 lakh.
When launched in the year 2008, it became the world’s cheapest car for Rs 1 lakh. Back then, the company had planned to launch 2,50,000 units annually but it could not be achieved due to multiple reasons.
