New Delhi: Tata Motors announced to launch of its latest popular electric car Tata Nexon EV MAX on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. According to the preliminary reports, the new car will be launched with more powerful features than its predecessor. Ahead of the launch, the company also drooped teasers for giving a glimpse of the car’s design and features.

So far, the company has kept details of the car under wraps. However, we have brought the leaked details of Nexon MAX ahead of its official launch.

Tata Nexon EV Max battery details and  expected features 

Tata Nexon EV Max is likely to be powered by a 40.5kWh battery compared to a 30.2kWh unit available on the first variant of the car. It is reported that the new battery can deliver 143hp and 250Nm — that is 14hp and 5Nm higher than the standard variant of the Nexon EV SUV.

With the Nexon EV Max, it is believed that the company will provide a 7.2kWh portable charger, while the standard version comes with a 3.3kWh charging set-up.

The battery claimed to deliver a 434km range on a single charge. It reported that Nexon EV will be sold in two variants, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux.

As far as the features are concerned, the Nexon EV Max is expected to come with a park mode, an electric parking brake, an air purifier, wireless charging, and a hill hold assist mode.

Tata Nexon EV Max expected price

Considering the above-mentioned features, the car may be available at Rs 20 lakh  (on-road) in most Indian cities. At this price,  it will still undercut its rival the MG ZS EV– which is sold at Rs 24.23 lakh (on-road).
