Tata Nixon EV Facelift 2023 launched, range varies from 14 to 19 lakhs

New Delhi: Tata Motors held the launch event for its most anticipated Tata Nixon EV Facelift 2023 on Thursday, September 14, 2023.

At the event, Tata revealed the Tata Nixon EV Facelift’s features and the price range of its different variants.

Tata Nixon EV Facelift will be launched in six different variants, which are:

Creative plus- Rs 14,74,000

Fearless- (MR Rs 16,19,000), (LR- Rs 18,19,000)

Fearless plus- (MR Rs 16,69,000), (LR Rs 18,69,000)

Fearless plus S- (MR Rs 17,19,000), (LR Rs 19,19,000)

Empowered- (MR Rs 17,84,000)

Empowered plus- (LR Rs 19,94,000)

Tata Nixon EV Facelift 2023: Design

The upper grille of the Nexon.ev is body-coloured with a single tone, and the lower grille has distinctive slatted designs. Its looks are given a special touch by the trapezoidal headlamp housings. The full-width LED light strip, which not only adds a sophisticated touch but also proudly displays the charging status, really steals the show. Don’t overlook the ‘ev’ badge, a blatant admission of its electric identity.

Tata Nixon EV Facelift 2023: Features

While there are some visual parallels between the cabin design and the standard Nexon, it has a new, layered look with a variety of textures and materials. A carbon fibre-like trim is a feature of the electric SUV. The rotary drive selector now serves as the default gear lever.

With a 12.3-inch touchscreen that leads its class and has been updated, the top-spec model advances technology to new heights. A futuristic atmosphere is created with few physical buttons thanks to a two-spoke illuminated steering wheel, a programmable 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation, and touch-based HVAC controls.

A 360-degree camera, connected car technology, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, fast-charging type-C ports, a single-pane sunroof, a JBL sound system, voice commands, OTA updates, and an Arcade.ev app suite for streaming well-known OTT platforms like Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar are also among the feature highlights.

The safety kit includes all-wheel disc brakes, panic brake alert, six airbags, ABS, ESC, front parking sensors, a blind-view monitor, ISOFIX anchors, hill descent and climb control, panic brake alert, and emergency and breakdown call assistance.

Tata Nixon EV Facelift 2023: Engine specification

The Nexon.ev has a revolutionary Gen-2 permanent magnet synchronous motor inside that is not only lighter but also more efficient and environmentally friendly. The MR version produces 129 horsepower and 215 pound-feet of torque, while the LR version wows with 145 horsepower and 215 pound-feet of torque energy. With a top speed of 150 kmph, the LR model can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds. Assuring a peaceful and comfortable ride, noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels have been improved. Three driving settings are provided by the SUV: Ecology, city, and sport.
