New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch Alto K10 in the Indian market on August 18. However, the Alto 800 will continue to be available in the market. Ahead of the launch, we have found some details of the new variants, dimensions, and engine specifications.

Bigger that the Alto 800
Before we check the dimensions of the New Alto K10, let us tell you the dimensions of the Old Alto 800. The Old Alto’s length, Width, and Height are 3445m, 1490mm, and 1520mm, respectively. The new Alto K10’s length will be 3530mm, 1490mm in width, and 3530mm in Length.
Engine detail of Alto K10
The new hatchback is expected to carry a 1.0-litre, K10C DualJet unit, producing 67hp and 89Nm torque. The company will provide a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.
The company is also said to offer a CNG variant like other Maruti Suzuki vehicles. The 48hp, 0.8-litre engine will continuously be sold with the ongoing, current-gen Alto 800.
If we check the mileage figure of the 800, it can be said the car will deliver around 22.05kmpl.
No plan to stop the production of Alto 800
Seeing the monthly sale figures, it can be said that Alto 800 will continue to be sold for some more years. Notably, the previous-gen K10 was discontinued in April 2020 while the 800 is still getting business in the market.
New few features of Alto K10
The media reports suggest the car will be available with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors, fog lamps, and ABS with EBD.
Expected price of Alto K10
The Alto 800 is being sold in the price range of Rs 3.39 lakh to Rs 5.03 lakh. The new Alto may be priced a little bit higher. The market experts say, the company will offer the car for between Rs 3.39 lakh to Rs 5.5 lakh.
