
New Delhi: The Finance Bill 2023 has been passed in the Lok Sabha today.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today moved the Finance Bill 2023 in the Lok Sabha amid sloganeering by Opposition MPs demanding a JPC inquiry into the Adani Group issue.
She moved the Finance Bill 2023 a day after the demand for grants was passed in Parliament.

The Finance Bill, 2023 passed in Lok Sabha.
The @RBI is being requested to look into this with a view to bring credit card payments for foreign tours within the ambit of LRS and tax collection at source thereon.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said a committee will be set up under Finance Secretary on the pension system to address the needs of employees and also maintain fiscal prudence.
I propose to set up a committee under the Finance Secretary to look into the issue of pensions & evolve an approach which addresses needs of employees while maintaining fiscal prudence to protect common citizens.

The Union Budget was presented by the Finance Minister on February 1.
