New Delhi: The Kerala State Lottery Department, run by the Kerala Government, began holding weekly lotteries since 1967, which makes it India’s first of its type. The department now operates seven lotteries, with the draw taking place every day at 3:00 PM at the Sree Chithira Home Auditorium in Pazhavangadi, East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram.

The prize winners are urged to cross-check their winning numbers with those published in the Kerala Government Gazatte and to relinquish their winning tickets within 30 days.
Things required to claim Prize money:
- A claim application and a self-attested photocopy of the two sides of the ticket are required.
- – Two passport-sized photographs of the lottery winner confirmed by a Gazetted Officer/Notary.
- – A receipt for the prize money in the specified form, with a 1/- revenue stamp (Download Receipt Here).
- – A self-attested copy of the winner’s PAN Card.
- – Attested ID Proof Documents such as Adhaar Card, Ration Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter ID Card, and so on.
