Plot

Until the approaching spring, Seoul suffered through a severe winter in December 1979. A state of martial rule was proclaimed after President Park’s murder. The head of defence security, Chun Doo Kwang, and a small group of his allies launch a coup d’état.

An adamant soldier named Lee Tae Shin, who is in charge of capital defence, battles against Chun Doo Kwang because he thinks the military should stay out of politics. As the defence minister is absent and military chiefs deliberate, tensions between the two intensify. Amid all the mayhem, the much-anticipated spring in Seoul took unexpected turns.
