New Delhi: Three new web series have recently made their way into the digital space via the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar! Interestingly, the freshly arrived web shows have renowned names, including Hansal Mehta and Bhuvan Bam.

The shows include Hansal Mehta’s ‘Lootere’, Bhuvan Bam’s ‘Taza Khabar’ and Patralekha’s ‘Aar Ya Paar’.

1. Lootere

Rajat Kapoor, Vivek Gomber, Amrita Khanvilkar, Gaurav Sharma, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Preetika Chawla starrer Lootere happens to be filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s son Jay Mehta’s debut series. The story of this series revolves around the life of Jadhavs, who migrated from Bihar to Molo in Kenya but got caught in fierce ethnic conflicts in the country.

2. Taza Khabar

YouTuber Bhuvan Bam’s OTT debut series Taaz Khabar brings to the screen the story of a sanitation worker from Mumbai. Directed by Himank Gaur, the series also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, JD Chakraborty, Deven Bhojani and Prathamesh Parab.

Excited to be in the lead, Bam said, “The story of my character Vasya brings out the irony of society in a way that makes you wonder how magic and miracles happen. Also, this new avatar is completely different from all the roles I have played”.

3. Aar Ya Paar

The series portrays the story of a tribal man’s struggle against the modern world and its corrupt political and financial machinery. It stars Aditya Rawal, Sumit Vyas, Patralekha, Ashish Vidyarthi and Shilpa Shukla in lead roles.

Director Siddharth Sengupta says that he is very excited to bring this unique story to the audience through his new show. “Unique stories are finding their way to the audience and I am looking forward to my first project with Disney plus Hotstar,” he added.
