The pandemic life is making sure that we do not get a chance to see the insides of the movie theatres. All thanks to the OTT platforms for not only clinching our daily dose of entertainment, but also filling their platforms with fresh variation of content every weekend.
Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi starrer Mimi on Netflix and Fahad Fasil’s Malik on prime won accolades from all over last month.

1. Navrasa
Bringing the magic of Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan together, this Tamil anthology is going to be a huge leap in terms of regional OTT entertainment. The nine part film will explicitly explore the concept of the nine human emotions, which are – anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace and wonder. The movie releases on Netflix on 6th August.
2. Top Secret UFO Projects Declassified
Do aliens exist or they already live amongst us? This extremely intriguing series poses and attempts to decode some questions for science lovers. Make sure to catch it on 3rd August.
4. Shershaah
This much-awaited movie based on the life of Kargil hero Captain Vikram Batra has Sidharth Malhotra playing the lead role. The war hero was awarded the Param Vir Chakra posthumously and played a pivotal role in India’s win against Pakistan during the Kargil war of 1999. The movie releases on 12th August on Prime Video.
5. Kuruthi
Prithviraj Sukumaran turns producer in this Malayalam thriller which looks exciting after watching the first teaser. Catch it on Prime Video on 11th August.
6. Modern Love Season 2
This anthology based on a NY Times column was such a big hit, that it is only fair for the second season to return and put us in a puddle of emotions all over again! The second season releases on 13th August on Prime Video, so be ready for some heart melting nights.
