New Delhi: The much-awaited teaser of OMG 2 is out on Tuesday. The makers have dropped the teaser of the upcoming film which is a sequel to the much-loved 2012 film OMG (Oh My God ) starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
The teaser is about one minute and six seconds and gives you glimpses of the film and introduces the lead characters of the film. The teaser shows Akshay Kumar playing the character of Lord Shiva whereas Pankaj Tripathi is a devotee Of Lord Shiva. The character of Pankaj Tripathi as Kanti Sharan Mudgal is somewhat a continuation from Paresh Rawal’s atheist character but Tripathi is seen as a theist in the teaser.
The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the storyline of the film but only shows the dynamics of the relation between the god and his believer. It shows how god eventually helps his devotee in fighting the problems of his life. While the first part was on blind faith but as reported the second part is based on the education system. Akshay Kumar himself took to Instagram to share the teaser of the film. Here is what he wrote –

The film is written and helmed by Amit Rai and is set to hit the theatre on August 11 and has a clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. The film is produced by Viacom18 studios in association with Cape of Good Films and Wakaoo films. Chandrashekhar Dwivedi has worked as a creative producer for OMG2 and also directed Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj. Omg 2 will be the second theatrical release of Akshay Kumar this year after the release of Selfiee along with Emraan Hashmi.
