New Delhi: In recent years, the Tamil cinema industry and its producers have benefited greatly from the choice of OTT platforms to distribute material in the Tamil language. Indian OTT services like Zee5, SonyLIV, Aha Video, and many more have emerged to compete with international giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar.

1. Maaveeran
If you’re looking for a fresh twist on the action-comedy genre, go no further than Maaveeran. Sathya, a fearful newspaper cartoonist, has a brain injury and begins hearing a voice recounting his life, prompting him to confront a corrupt politician named Jeyakodi. Sathya becomes Maaveeran with the assistance of an unknown action figure and goes out to right wrongs.

2. Por Thozhil
Por Thozhil, starring Ashok Selvan, and Nikhila Vimal, is a crime thriller directed by first-timer Vignesh Raja about a serial murderer who preys on young women in Trichy. Police must act swiftly to capture the killer before he can conduct any more crimes.

One of the most talked-about Tamil films is Maayoon, a mythological thriller written by Sibi Sathyaraj and Tanya Ravichandran. 4. Vaan Moondru
