New Delhi: 90 Day Fiancé’s power couple Ashley Michelle and Manuel are having a golden future together despite facing a lot of turbulence in their relationship in the show’s 10th season. While Manuel is a construction laborer hailing from Ecuador, Ashley identifies herself as a professional witch in NYC.
The Dream
During her undergrad, Ashley once had a dream in which she was working with earth in a forest. When Ashley told her biology professor about it, the latter revealed that she was planning to visit Ecuador in the coming days.
Hearing this, Ashley told her teacher that she would also like to come along and this marked the beginning of her fancy tale of romance, love, and passion with her future husband Manuel.

Despite having second thoughts about leaving Ecuador, his motherland, Ashley managed to convince Manuel to move to America with her and assured him that he would manage to get good employment there.
However, she learned some shocking truths about Manuel which also included learning about his relatives who were already there in New York.
So far, Manuel has shown disinterest in getting married to Ashley and the duo learned about the huge differences between them in their 90 Day Fiancé’s season 10 journey.
Ashley now has a fair share of suspicions for Manuel and if even half of them are true, she shouldn’t be surprised if she gets her heart broken by the man she is dreaming of spending her life with.
Ashly and Manuel’s love at first sight
Ashley and Manuel crossed paths in the very first year of the former’s trip to Ecuador. It was New Year’s Eve when Manuel made a bold decision to approach Ashley and request her to join him for a couple dance.
The moment Ashley turned to look at Manuel, it was nothing less than a ‘love at first sight’ as his smooth hair darkish skin and gorgeous smile made her an admirer of him in a matter of seconds.
Things between the two escalated quickly and within a week, they ended up getting engaged to each other, head over heels for each other’s love.
Even after Ashley returned to the US, she continued to enjoy the unique bond of a long-distance relationship with Manuel.

However, their relationship’s dreamy start was short-lived as soon, things started to drastically fall apart between the two. Ashley had ended the long-distance relationship with Manuel and told him about the same when the latter tried to contact her via text messages. She also revealed that Manuel was a characterless boy.
Nevertheless, after spending 7 years without each other, Ashley finally took a brave call and decided to visit Manuel in September 2020. As soon as she landed in Ecuador for the second time, Manuel came to receive her at the airport from where the duo headed towards Airbnb to spend some much-needed time together.
In the Airbnb, Manual once again surprised Ashley with his marriage proposal and asked her for another shot to reignite their forgotten relationship.
Long story short, Ashley is still trying to figure out Manuel and she is very much aware of the fact that he wants her to be a practiced Catholic Christian while she is currently doing the exact opposite of that by indulging in tarot reading, witchcraft, and astrology.
She is also trying to financially support Manuel with her own money but to her disappointment, Manuel is secretly busy transferring her hard-earned money to his peeps in Ecuador. Their relationship continues to hang by a thread.
Major red flags in Ashley and Manuals’s relationship
Manuel detested Ashley’s dog who used to sleep in her doorless bedroom and made it clear to her that he would rather sleep on the sofa instead of sharing a bed with her dog. By this time Ashley hadn’t yet told Manuel that she was a practicing witch believing that the same would give Manuel a shock of his life.
Manuel, an orthodox Christian, thinks that witches are dangerous, and their only intention is to harm people so when he finally learns about Ashley’s profession, he refuses to accept that she is one. He even questioned her why didn’t she get back her ex-lover using her witch spells and Ashley simply had no good answer to his question.

Meanwhile, Manuel’s family continued to live in ignorance, unaware of the fact that he had moved to us and was about to get married to Ashley. Manuel has lied to them and told his mom that he is working in another city in Ecuador and Ashley was definitely not happy about the same.
She was scared of his secretive side and even visited a couple of therapists in a particular episode. However, the therapy session had no good outcomes as Manuel insulted the therapist by calling them a clown. He continued to ask Ashley to financially aid his family living in Ecuador by giving them 300 USD every month.
To sum it up, they continued to have differences and only understood each other while having s*x.
Ashley and Manuel got married?
Manuel continued to avoid any questions involving his red flags and even scolded Ashley right in front of her family. Even in one of the trailer of the show, Ashley’s sister can be heard telling her that nobody likes to be around Manuel, even her mother seems surprised and asks Ashley if she actually wants to spend her life with a guy like Manuel.
However, even after all this, Ashley made it clear that she was in a relationship with Manuel and even uploaded a picture suggesting the same.
Taking to her Instagram, Ashley dropped a post featuring herself with Manuel and attached it to a caption that read, “We finally get to celebrate my Scorpio King tonight! After waiting for our visa approval for almost 2 years….8 trips back and forth to Ecuador and a long-distance love that goes back to our early 20s, today’s the day”
Notably, She kept her ring finger hidden in the picture and left fans wondering if the couple has officially tied the knot or not.

However, Manuel’s presence in the picture along with her combined with the fact that his temporary visa only allowed him to be in the United States for 90 days except if he gets married to her strongly suggest that the two have finally walked down the aisle.
Even according to StyleCaster, Ashley and Manuel have finally exchanged wedding vows and even celebrated the latter’s birthday together.
