New Delhi: On March 29, 2024, Paramount Plus and Jio Cinema will debut the miniseries A Gentleman in Moscow, which stars Ewan McGregor.
With Russian history serving as a background, the eight-episode series based on the book by Amor Towles promises an enthralling plot. The trailer for the forthcoming series A Gentleman in Moscow features Ewan McGregor as a Russian nobleman confined to a hotel attic.
Plot
As the Bolshevik Revolution unfolds, the protagonist, a member of the Russian aristocracy, is spared execution and confined to his home.
Alexander Rostov, the protagonist, lost his name and status following the Russian Revolution and spent decades under house arrest in a posh Moscow hotel. Rostov’s extraordinary talent for forging connections with strangers, whether it be via fleeting love affairs or just plain old folks, allows him to see the best in others.
The true wealth of a man, he found, is in his relationships with others, his courage, and his love. This only became clear to him after he had lost what he treasured.
