Aanandhapuram Diaries OTT Release Date: Meena and Srikanth starrer female-centric Malayalam movie Aanandhapuram Diaries is finally coming to digital screens, nearly half a year after its theatrical premiere.
The film’s streaming partner ManoramaMax, which raked in its digital rights a long time ago, is all set to roll it out on its platform on September 20, 2024, allowing the fans to enjoy the family drama right from the comfort of their homes.
About the Movie
Marking Meena’s comeback in the Malayalam film industry after a long time, Aanandpuram Diaries, helmed by Jaya Jose Raj, arrived in theaters in March 2024. Notably, while the film did manage to get acclaim from cinegoers due to its gripping storyline & inspiring narrative, it failed to earn well at the Box Office due to its sluggish pace which didn’t go well with the audiences.
Now, with all eyes on the Srikanth starrer’s digital release, it will be interesting to see how OTTians receive the movie in the coming days.
Plot of the Film
Nandini, a cancer patient, part ways with her husband after finding out that he has been cheating on her for quite a while. Following the painful divorce, the lady then decides to tie the knot of an arranged marriage with another guy to move on in her life but the same slowly starts to take a toll on her mental & emotional wellbeing.
Eventually, she embarks on a voyage of self-reflection and enrolls herself back in the university to complete her studies and earn the Law degree on which she bailed earlier due to her marriage-related obligations. However, just when things started to look good for her and she was finally making friends while moving ahead in her life, Nandini, without knowing, gets entangled in a case related to drug paddlers which put her reputation and life hanging by a thread. What happens next and how she navigates her way out of the dangerous situation is the rest of the film’s story.

Written by Jaya Jose Raj, The Malayalam drama, in its star-studded cast, features talented actors including Jayaram Mala Parvathy, Srikanth, Manoj K Jayan, Roshan Abdul Rahoof, Devika Gopal Nair, Jaffer Idukki, Sudheer Karamana, Abhilash, Shikha, Siddharth Siva, Suraj Thelakad, Miranair and Jayaraj Kozhikode essaying the roles main characters. It is produced by Sasi Gopalan Nair under the banner of Neil Production India Private Limited.
