New Delhi: Following a remarkable theatrical run, Zarin Shihab and Vijay Forrt’s latest Malayalam flick Aattam has finally arrived on digital screens to enthrill and entertain the fans.
Earlier in January 2024, the suspense drama hit the big screens & received a rave reception from the cine-goers. It not only captivated the viewers with an engaging narrative but also amazed them with the impressive acting of its lead cast.
Now, as the movie has made its much-awaited entry into the digital realm after over 2 months, fans are excited and abuzzed about the same.
Where to Watch Aattam on OTT
As announced by the makers earlier this week, Aattam has started streaming online on Amazon Prime Video from 11 March 2024. The movie is available to watch for users with a basic subscription to the digital platforms’ services.

About Aattam’s Plot
Since she was 16 years old, Anjali has been the sole female member of the theater group Arangu which has 12 other male members. One very day, while the entire group is having a post-performance celebration bash at a foreign couple’s resort, she faces molestation by one person in the group.
Following that, all members of Arangu learn about the incident and call a meeting to discuss their next move. From there, the movie’s story almost becomes something like a courtroom drama where all male members of the theater group, except for the accused, act as jury and judge Anjali’s situation as per their different sets of beliefs.
To sum up, Aattam’s plot dwells deep into the typical male mindset, reflecting upon several related issues like male ego, hypocrisy, misogynistic behavior, etc. It also highlights Indian society’s tendency to judge a woman’s character based on their opinionated and discriminatory reasonings.
Direction, Production, and cast of Aattam
Helmed and written by debutant director Anand Ekarshi, Aattam’s star-studded cast sees several actors including Zarin Shihab, Vinay Forrt, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Jolly Antony, Aji Thiruvamkulam and Nandhan Unni in important roles. It is produced by Dr. Ajith Joy and was released in the cinemas under the banner of Joy Movie Productions on January 5, 2024.
