New Delhi: The IIFA Awards 2022 was carried out after a hiatus of two years owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Apart from the dazzling performances of the Bollywood stars and award distribution ceremony, what gathered attention was a photo of Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan sitting close together. IIFA shared the picture on their Twitter handle writing, “We spotted H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, #SalmanKhan and #AbhishekBachchan interacting during the NEXA IIFA Awards 2022.” Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan who was seen sitting between two actors, heads the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Social Development.

It was reported that Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan interacted at Karan Johar’s 50th birthday party. The party was star-studded and saw celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan to Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Rani Mukherjee, and also the Gen Z stars.
