New Delhi: One of the movies that have fans buzzing is Viduthalai, which has been in production for more than a year. Vetri Maaran, who has won a National Award, directed the movie. In addition to ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi playing a key part as Vaathiyaar, it stars popular comedian and supporting actor Soori in the lead position.
Chetan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu, Munnar Ramesh, and Saravana Subbiah also appear in supporting roles. Elred Kumar produced the film, which features music by ‘Maestro’ Ilaayaraja. The film has sparked a lot of excitement because it is the follow-up to Vetri Maaran’s 2019 blockbuster Asuran. The film will be released in two parts, the first of which will be released in theatres on March 31.
Announcing this, actor Vijay Sethupathi has posted a poster on Instagram and captioned it,”#ViduthalaiPart1FromMarch31″.

Viduthalai’s promotion began a week ago, with the makers releasing posters and videos to pique fans’ interest. The cast and crew discussed how difficult it was to shoot the picture because it was shot in a dense forest. Last week, actor Soori shared a Viduthalai making-of-film. The filmmakers have now released a three-minute video documenting the film’s creation. It appears to be an expanded version of the one previously released by actress Soori.
The video depicts stunt scenes with Soori on top of a building in a community. It also has Vetri Maaran screaming commands to the Viduthalai artists and crew. It also includes sequences shot in forests and mountains, as well as shots of the creation of police prison torture scenes. It also shows the director explaining the scenario to several artists, as well as some colorful images of the directors, cast, and crew mingling, and concludes with the director pointing to the camera and stating, “Look, he’s filming all of this as a video.”
