New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s father, Pandit P Khurrana, passed away today. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Mohali.
According to reports, P Khurrana was battling heart problems for some time and was undergoing treatment at Fortis hospital.
However, the exact cause of his death is yet to be known.
The news about his death have left his friends, family, and fans shocked.
An official statement shared by Khurrana family read, “Our Dear father, P. Khurrana ( Virendra Khurrana) the pillar of our life and the heartbeat of our family has left us for the heavenly abode.”
The statement also said that the cremation of Pandit P Khurrana will be held on Friday (May 19) at 5:30 pm at Manimajra Cremation ground.
Soon after the news about his death was revealed, condolences started pouring in for actor’s father.

Who was Pandit P Khurrana?
Pandit P Khurana was one of the well known astrologer and was known for his contributions to the field of astrology.
It was because of his advise that his son, a Bollywood star Ayushmann added an additional ‘n’ and ‘r’ in his name in 2016. He had advised Ayushmann to make the changes in the spelling of his name to make it numerologically correct. He revealed it in 2017.
