In an interview, Adah stated, “Every film I do, I think it will be my last.” Because I don’t know whether I’ll have another opportunity or if anybody would believe in me again. But I believe the audience’s expectations of me were always higher. They’d always suggest that Adah should have gotten this or that part…All of my dreams, I believe, have come true. I am quite fortunate. My fantasies were always minor, such as wanting to play with an elephant or a puppy. I wanted to play nice parts, but I never knew how many I’d receive.”

“When we started making this film, we had this idea that it was going to spread awareness among girls,” she continued. “I’m really delighted so many people are seeing it now so they can understand what the real narrative was about and what was hidden. You constantly want people to witness your job as an actor. I’m grateful for the opportunity. I used to wonder whether I needed to be reincarnated like Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om to have such a chance in this life. But I got it, and I’m incredibly thrilled that people are viewing the film and appreciating it so much.”

The Kerala Story, produced by Vipul Shah, purports to be about Kerala women who were forced to convert and recruited by the terror organisation ISIS. Following the publication of the the movie’s trailer, a squabble developed. The film has been banned in West Bengal, and multiplexes in Tamil Nadu have ceased showing it due to the law and order situation. It has been granted tax-free status in states like as Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
