Adipurush Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking: With 36,000+ tickets sold for Hindi 3D, movie grips a good start

Adipurush achieved 20 lakhs gross in the Telugu version, while the full-fledged advance booking has yet to start. Other versions haven’t made much of an impact. On day one, the film sold tickets for 1.62 crores gross across the country (including all languages).

New Delhi: Adipurush’s official release date is currently only 4 days away. The magnum epic, led by Prabhas, is expected to have one of the best openings of the year at the box office, challenging Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan on day one.

Om Raut directed the movie, which stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage. Initially, there were clouds of pessimism around this anticipated blockbuster, but when the trailer was released, some momentum was developed. Furthermore, the Jai Shri Ram song was a big hit with the public, giving it some added mileage.

Adipurush will be released on Friday, and pre-booking began yesterday. Even before reaching 24 hours, the movie has demonstrated its buzz by achieving promising figures. As of last night, the Prabhas-starrer has grossed 1.40 crores in India alone. It includes a total of 1.35 crores from the 3D edition, which equates to the sale of nearly 36,000 tickets.

With four days left, Adipurush is anticipated to put up a strong showing.

Take a look at the trailer:

As the picture prepares for a June 16 release, reports indicate that Adipurush will not be released in IMAX theatres. Warner Bros. Pictures has restricted the IMAX screens in India well in advance due to the release of DC’s superhero film, The Flash, on the same date. As a result, Adipurush will not be available at IMAX theatres in India. This is a tremendous disappointment for those who have been waiting with bated breath.
