New Delhi: After several postponements and conflicts, Prabhas’ Adipurush finally saw the light of day today, June 16. Early morning shows at 4 a.m. in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were sold out, and fans hailed Prabhas’ entry as Lord Ram in Adipurush. Now that the first-day first show has concluded, Twitter is buzzing with the first film reviews. Netizens referred to Adipurush as Prabhas’ comeback film and described it as a modern version of the Ramayana.’

Adipurush was launched in theatres on June 16th, amid high anticipation. Om Raut’s film was released in 2D and 3D in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

As the first day of showings drew to an end, Twitteratis went to the social media site to express their enthusiasm and opinions on the film. While some referred to it as Prabhas’ comeback picture, others believed that films like Adipurush’shouldn’t be assessed, but rather admired.’

About Adipurush:

Adipurush is a mythical story based on Valmiki’s Ramayana, written and directed by Om Raut. Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon plays Sita, while Saif Ali Khan plays Raavan in the movie. In the picture, they portray Raghava, Janaki, and Lankesh, respectively. Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage play minor roles.
