New Delhi: The hashtag ‘Adipurush’ started trending at the top on Twitter after the much-awaited teaser of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s starer film was released on Sunday evening. Under the hashtag, many people shared reactions by sharing screenshots from the teaser. Notably, the film is directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar.
The story of the film revolves around Ramayana. The director of the movie has tried to bring the modern-day retelling of Ramayana.
In the film, Prabhas has played the role of Lord Rama while Sunny Singh is playing his brother’s role as Lakshman. Actress Kriti Senon has essayed the role of Sita in the forthcoming film.
According to reports, it took Rs 500 crore to make the film. It is set to hit the theatres on January 12, 2023. The dialogues of the film has been written by Manoj Muntashir.
In theatres, the film will be released in two languages — Hindi and Telugu.
