New Delhi: On World Radio Day (13 Feb 2024), Amazon Prime Video finally unveiled the much-awaited streaming date of Sara Ali Khan’s patriotic flick Ae Watan Mere Watan. Announcing the official premiere date of the movie, the digital platform also dropped an intriguing motion picture featuring the voice of the Pataudi princess who will be playing the character of unsung freedom fighter Usha in the movie.

Ae Watan Mere Watan OTT Release Date and Plateform
The official OTT release date of Ae Watan Mere Watan announced by the makers is 21 March 2024. On that very day, the historical drama will arrive exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in 5 different languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada)across 240 countries. To watch it on the OTT platform, viewers will be required to have a subscription to its service.
Plot, cast & direction
Written and directed by Darab Farooqui & Kannan Iyer respectively, Ae Watan mere Watan is a fictional patriotic thriller inspired by freedom fighter Usha Mehta’s life story.
Set in the era of the British Raj, the film shows how the young & strong-headed lady changed the course of India’s fight for freedom by igniting the feeling of patriotism in the countrymen & uniting them against the European intruders, just with her words uttered through a clandestine radio from an underground radio station.
Besides having Sara as the lead protagonist, the stellar cast of Ae Watan Mere Watan features Emran Hashmi, Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Anand Tiwari and Alexx O’ Neil in important roles. The film is produced by ace Bollywood director Karan Johar & will be released under the banner of his production house Dharmatic Entertainment.
