After “Oo Antava” massive success, Samantha Prabhu turns down Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: Report

The producers, according to the insider, are trying incredibly hard to persuade her while somehow attempting to secure a prominent performer for this particular tune. Sukumar is also rumored to have created a secondary role for Samantha and tied it into the storyline.

New Delhi: Samantha Ruth Prabhu impressed fans in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise with her seductive dance routine Oo Antava. Even before the movie’s premiere, the track became a ringtone. Samantha’s dazzling maneuvers in the song were praised by both critics and audiences. Samantha was also rumored to have a prominent role in Pushpa: The Rule, which also starred Rashmika Mandanna.

According to the reports, Pushpa 2 director Sukumar has contacted Samantha yet again to film another special item track in the follow-up. Samantha has supposedly declined the invitation since she is not ready to undertake item numbers at this time in her profession.

The producers, according to the insider, are trying incredibly hard to persuade her while somehow attempting to secure a prominent performer for this particular tune. Sukumar is also rumored to have created a secondary role for Samantha and tied it into the storyline.

It was previously reported that Pushpa’s lead actor Allu Arjun himself persuaded Samantha to star in Oo Antava. She is said to have charged Rs 5 crore for the three-minute track.

Samantha remarked during a media interview at the Critics Choice Awards last year that she had been thrilled by the feedback she gained for Oo Antava. According to her, she couldn’t express how much love and affection she has received from people. She didn’t expect ‘Oo Antava’ to be such a massive success not only in the state but also in pan India. The Rangasthalam actress said that not only Telugu audiences but also viewers from all over India have overlooked her previous works, today people identify her as ‘Oo Antava’.
