New Delhi: Actor and filmmaker Ajay Devgn shared a still and a motion poster of his upcoming film ‘Bholaa’. The film follows a ‘one-man army’ fighting drug lords and corrupt forces within 24 hours. Ajay’s upcoming film ‘Bholaa’ has a similar feel to that of his second directorial venture ‘Shivaay’ and like in this film Ajay Devgn plays a father to a young daughter. The film is an official remake of the Tamil film ‘Kaithi’. The Tamil film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and revolved around a prisoner who helps the police when a gang of smugglers attack them and in return, the cops help him reunite with his daughter.

The film also stars Tabu in the lead, along with Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal, Markand Deshpande and others.

The poster shows Ajay in an intense look with ashes rubbed on his forehead. The character seemingly draws inspiration from Lord Shiva. The motion poster shows a handcuff hanging alongside Ajay Devgn’s face as the still appears on the screen.

The makers earlier released the teaser of the film, which showed a girl in trouble while the protagonist is reading the Bhagvat Gita in the prison. There is also a glimpse of Ajay Devgn fighting the goons with a trident (trishool), a weapon associated with Lord Shiva.

The film is produced under the banner of Reliance Entertainment and will release on 30 March 2023.
