Alia Bhatt charges Rs 85 lakh to crore for social media post: Reports

Her Instagram following of 68.4 million, 21.5 million on Twitter and 8.4 million on Facebook is good enough for brands to have a wide reach.

New Delhi: Alia Bhatt recently opened up about being the ‘Brand Alia Bhatt’ and talked about her image in the public. Starting her career with Student of the Year in 2012 to being one of the producers in her recently released venture ‘Darlings’, the actor has come a long way.

The actor reportedly charges between Rs 85 lakh to a crore for a social media advertisement or post. Alia is not just a star but a youth icon as well. That is a reason why she gets a lot of brand collaborations. Her Instagram following of 68.4 million, 21.5 million on Twitter and 8.4 million on Facebook is good enough for brands to have a wide reach. According to Duff and Phelps’ celebrity brand valuation report in 2021, her brand value was calculated to be $68.1 million, also she is the youngest among the top 10 on that list. An influencer marketing executive reports that the amount can go higher during a film release.

After her film, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, she became the only female actor to have two women-driven films that have crossed the Rs 100 crore mark as the first one was ‘Raazi’. Apart from that, she has been on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2014 and peaked at the eighth position in 2019.
Talking to Indian Express, the actor was asked about how ‘brand Alia Bhatt’ has changed over the last decade. Replying to this, she spoke about the transition of her image from being an ‘unintelligent’ to a ‘smart woman’  who owns a production house and a fashion line.
Alia’s latest film ‘Darlings’ was released on August 5 on Netflix and now she will be seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ and ‘Brahmastra: Part 1-Shiva’. The actor will also make her Hollywood debut with Gal Gadot’s Heart of Stone.
