Alienoid: Return to the Future OTT Release Date: Ryu Jun Yeol & Kim Woo Bin starrer sci-fi action-adventure film out on OTT

Alienoid: Return to the Future OTT Release Date: Now that it’s ready for online streaming, the film can be released globally. On May 17, 2024, fans will finally be able to enjoy it on Amazon Prime Video.

New Delhi: Featuring Ryu Jun Yeol and Kim Woo Bin, Alienoid: Return to the Future is a South Korean science fiction action film helmed by Choi Dong Hoon set to release on OTT on May 17.

Part two of the 2022 film Alienoid follows the protagonists—monks and humans alike—as they fight bloodily for a new sword and uncover long-buried mysteries to return to the present and rescue everyone. On January 10, 2024, it was released in theatres in South Korea – in IMAX, 4DX, and ScreenX formats.

Storyline

Aliens are attempting to escape from human bodies, and Yi An finds herself trapped in the past as she tries to stop them. In the end, she overcomes all the challenges and saves Thunder by discovering a new weapon that may open a time portal. A mysterious presence within Mu Reuk is also perplexing him. The hunt for a celestial sword involves more than just Heuk Seol and Cheong Woon; Neung Pa is also a part of it. Suddenly, Ja Jang is on the trail of Yi An and Mu Reuk.

Min Gae In finds that the alien named Hava is killing a lot of people and that this is just the start. To return to the present with Thunder, Mu Reuk, and Yi An open the time gate as time runs out. They need to rescue the humans while fighting against the aliens and preventing Hava’s explosion.

When and Where to Watch?

The film’s primary poster was unveiled on December 11, 2023, and CJ E&M had set the release date for January 10, 2024. The film debuted in North America, Vietnam, Indochina, and Hong Kong at the tail end of January 2024.

Now that it’s ready for online streaming, the film can be released globally. On May 17, 2024, fans will finally be able to enjoy it on Amazon Prime Video.

Cast and Crew

There are multiple key protagonists in the movie, and it includes a large number of A-list actors and actresses. Yeom Jung Ah portrays Heuk Seol, Kim Tae Ri plays Yi An, Kim Woo Bin plays Thunder, Lee Ha Nee plays Min Kae In, Jo Woo Jin plays Cheong Woon, Jin Seon Kyu plays Neung Pa, and Yeom Jung Yeol plays Mu Reuk.

So Ji Sub, Yoon Gyung Ho, Lee Si Hoon, Shin Jung Keun, and many more are among the supporting cast.

Both the director and writer of the film are Choi Dong Hoon.
