All of Us Strangers OTT Release Date: The film explores LGBT love, solitary existence, and grief, and it will be available to watch on Disney Plus Hotstar starting May 8, 2024.

New Delhi: British filmmaker Andrew Haigh adapted Taichi Yamada’s 1987 book Strangers for his 1987 romantic fantasy feature All of Us Strangers. Searchlight Pictures released All of Us Strangers in the UK on 26 January 2024 after its world debut on 31 August 2023 at the 50th Telluride Film Festival. It was nominated for six BAFTA Awards and ranked among the best 10 indie films of 2023, according to the National Board of Review.

Plot

Adam, a screenwriter who has been away from his boyhood home for 30 years, returns to it and forms a tentative friendship with Harry, his downstairs neighbour. He also finds a strange new method to process his grief over the death of his parents.

Adam had an unexpected encounter with his mysterious next-door neighbour Harry while going about his nightly routine in his almost abandoned London tower block in the film. As their passion blossoms, Adam is whisked away to his boyhood home, where his parents seem to be spending their last days meticulously attending to every detail.
