New Delhi: The Telugu cinema industry is in shock and grief following the unexpected death of Allu Ramesh, an acclaimed actor, and comedian, on Tuesday. Allu Ramesh died of heart arrest in his birthplace of Visakhapatnam. The actor was 52 years old at the time.

Allu Ramesh, who was born in Vizag, began his career in the movie industry via the theatre. He made his debut as an actor in the movie ‘Chirujallu’ and went on to appear in more Telugu movies. His films include ‘Tolu Bommalata,’ ‘Mathura Wines,’ ‘Veedhi,’ ‘Blade Babji,’ and ‘Napoleon.’ He starred as Nukaraju’s father in the 2015 film ‘Kerintha.’ His most recent album was Rajendra Prasad’s ‘Anukoni Prayanam.’
