New Delhi: Jumping on the bandwagon criticizing cliques of Bollywood, Amaal Malik revealed that he has also faced bullying and campism in Bollywood.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra appeared on a US podcast with Dax Shepard and spilled the beans on her entry in Hollywood.
The Baywatch actress, in a shocking revelation, alleged that she was pushed into a corner by the cliques of Bollywood. She said that she got tired of their politics and mind games, and hence left for America to pursue a music career in Hollywood.
Amaal Malik reacted to Priyanka’s statement by tweeting he faces similar treatment every day. He added that this is the reason why he doesn’t work in many Bollywood films.
Well it’s something that I face on a daily basis.
When fans ask me why I don’t do as many Bollywood films ? Now you know 😉
The truth about campism, bootlicking & powerplay within #Bollywood needs to come out more often ??♂️??
See what they tried to do to this amazing woman ?? https://t.co/pYPpWxY9MD

Malik wrote further that Bollywood’s campism, bootlicking, and powerplay need to be talked about more often.
His tweet received a mixed response. While many sympathized with him, some questioned how he gets work in every Salman Khan movie.
meanwhile you are getting work in every salman khan film even after you have bashed him so badly

In a sarcastic tone, he made another tweet saying that people think he is a nepo kid who had it easy.

However, Amaal Malik actually does come from a family of artists. His uncle is Anu Malik while his father is composer Daabu Malik. His elder brother is Arman Malik.
On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut also backed Chopra’s statements and blasted Karan Johar with a series of tweets.
Calling the director toxic, obnoxious, mean, and jealous, Kangana claimed that Karan Johar was the one who banned her.
She added that this is how they bullied and chased away a self-made woman out of Bollywood.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera Chopra also jumped in her support and backed up Kangana Ranaut’s statement. She said that PC’s achievements are a tight slap on the face of Bollywood cliques.
