The film received three major honors, including Best International Feature, Best Action Picture, Best Stunts, and Best Original Music for the Oscar-nominated Naatu Naatu. Rajamouli praised his entire team for putting in 320 days of hard labor to create the movie in his victory speech for Best Stunts.

“A big thank you to every one of the members of the Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) who considered RRR to have the best stunts,” Rajamouli remarked. “Thank you very much. I must first thank my choreographer, who has worked tirelessly to perform all of the stunts. Some of the climax action moments were assisted by Juji [stunt master]. And to all the other choreographers who worked tirelessly, came to India, and shared our vision. They adapted their working approach to ours and delivered what we needed today.”

SS Rajamouli further claimed that his “great performers” Jr NTR and Ram Charan completed the majority of the stunts. “There were only maybe 2-3 shots where we used body doubles in the entire film’s endless action shots,” he continued. Every stunt was executed by the actors. They are nice gentlemen. It is the result of the entire team’s efforts. This is due to the efforts of my entire team. We put in 320 days of hard effort to make this movie, most of which was consumed by the stunts. And this honor means a lot not only to me and my film but also to the Indian cinema industry. “I hope we have these wings to go even farther.”
