Angry Birds Mystery Island OTT Release Date: Angry Birds are here with its newest action-adventure animation film

New Delhi: Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Kids+ will be the exclusive platforms to stream the new animated series Angry Birds Mystery Island. On May 21, the first eight episodes will be made available to the public, and the remaining sixteen episodes will be released shortly after that.

The series was previewed in January 2024 by Toy World magazine, which noted its release on the series’ fifteenth anniversary. The official announcement of the series came on April 25 when Rovio created a new channel on their gaming Discord server. The series was marketed in Times Square in addition to social media.

Plot

Mia, Rosie, and Buddy are the three new Hatchling characters who are introduced in Angry Birds Mystery Island. Additional characters include Hamylton, a foreign exchange piglet.

When these mischievous youngsters are accidentally launched onto an undiscovered island, they are treated to an extravagant island vacation—one that they never requested—at no cost to themselves. The misfit gang realizes they must work together to solve the island’s riddles if they are to live and return home after being left to investigate the strange scents, strange sights, and inexplicable happenings in their unfamiliar surroundings.

When and Where to Watch?

Angry Birds Mystery Island will make its premiere on Amazon Kids+ and Amazon Prime Video simultaneously on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The first eight episodes of the series will be available for streaming. A total of 24 episodes are included in this season.

Cast and Crew

The voices of Harvey Guillén, who plays the role of Buddy, Kate Micucci, who plays Mia, Dominic Monaghan, who plays Hamylton, and Nasim Pedrad, who plays Rosie, are included in the series.

Showrunner Eric Rogers is responsible for the creation of Angry Birds Mystery Island, while Titmouse Inc. is the company that is responsible for producing it.

Eric Rogers serves as showrunner and head writer, and he also serves as an executive producer with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina of Titmouse, Inc. The series was announced on June 6, 2023, as a collaboration between Rovio Entertainment and Amazon.
