New Delhi: Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, has been in the limelight ever since the promo came out. Reports indicate that it is also poised to perform well at the box office in terms of pre-booking.
A gripping criminal story centred on the tangled connection between Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, Animal is set to premiere in theatres on December 01.
Rashmika plays the role of Ranbir’s compliant wife, while Bobby Deol plays the antagonist.

Advance Booking of the Film
Without even having opened in theatres yet, the highly anticipated picture Animal has created quite an impression in the early box office, and many are predicting that it will become the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time on opening day in 2023.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk, Jawan has the most advance bookings at Rs 37.24 crores, followed by Pathaan at Rs 31.18 crores. With an incredible total of more than Rs 19 crores in advance bookings, Animal is poised to secure third place.
So far, 7,45,992 tickets have been sold for 12,539 shows, resulting in a windfall of Rs 19.7 crore for the Sandeep Reddy Vanga flick.

According to Sacnilk statistics, 5,75,197 tickets were sold for the Hindi shows and 1,63,361 for the Telugu version.

Overseas Booking
Worldwide advance sales for Ranbir Kapoor’s much-anticipated flick Animal began last week. The sales reaction at first was positive, but the explosive effect of Thursday’s trailer release caused a huge spike in sales over the weekend. On the opening day of the pre-ticket sale, the picture grossed over $600,000, and by the end of the weekend, it had raked in almost $800,000.
North America is the film’s most lucrative market, bringing in roughly half a million dollars over the weekend (including $300,000 from Thursday screenings). With almost 150,000 Australian dollars for the weekend, Australia is in second place.
With previews included, the movie is projected to have an opening day gross of around $4 million.
