New Delhi: At the box office, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal has been a smashing success. December 01 marked the theatrical debut of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film. In just two days after its release, Animal broke records set by both Pathaan and Gadar 2, and it has already reached the Rs 100 crore club.
Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri are among the other notable actors in the film with Ranbir.
The film made Rs 66.00 crore in India on Saturday, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. According to Sacnilk statistics, the film’s opening day earnings were Rs 63.8 crore (with Hindi Rs 54.75 crore; Telegu Rs 8.55 crore; Tamil Rs 0.4 crore; Karnataka Rs 0.09 crore; Malayalam Rs 0.01 crore).

This boosts the film’s total earnings in only two days to 129.80 crore rupees. Additionally, the film has whopped Rs 236 crores worldwide, in just 2 days.

Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst, had previously projected that Animal will be Ranbir’s most successful opening picture. Taran said that Animal is doing very well in tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 centres in addition to metropolitan locations and national chains. The picture is already well on its way to earning over 150 million Indian rupees, and given the weekend, that figure may rise much more.

In Animal, we see the complex relationship between Balbir Singh, a business magnate, and Rannvijay Singh, his son. Because of all the excitement around the picture, it had an incredible opening weekend at the box office. Despite fierce competition from Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur, Ranbir-starrer managed an impressive opening day gross.
