New Delhi: Following the monumental commercial success of Ranbir Kapoor’s latest action drama Animal, the fans are now waiting for the release of the film’s sequel ‘Animal Park’ with bated breath.
Although not much information about the Rashmia Mandanna starter’s part 2 has been made known in the public domain so far, it has been revealed by the makers that the basic script of the movie has already been prepared by its writers with whom Sandeep Reddy Vanga will start keenly working by the fall of 2024.
Additionally, several sources have also claimed that Animal actor Ranbir will kickstart shooting for the film’s second part in 2025, right after being done with the shoot of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming movie Ramayana which is anticipated to hit the big screen during the second half of the same year.

As per a recently published report by Mid-Day, the story of Animal Park will continue from where it was left in the prequel movie. This makes it obvious that the plot of Animal Park will mainly circle the conflicts between Ranbir Kapoor’s characters Ranvijay & his clone Aziz Haque, the vengeful brother of the first movie’s antagonist Abrar. Besides that, the aftermath of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s characters ( Ranvijay & Geetanjli) broken relationship is also expected to be another highlight of the movie.
Speaking on the same, an insider source close to the film said, “The domestic feud between the protagonist and his wife Geetanjali will be taken forward, as will his relationship with his son. The idea is that while Sandeep shoots Spirit, he will take monthly updates on the script primarily being written by Pranay Vanga. He will actively work with the writers only in the second half of 2024.”

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal tells the story of a man Ranvijay (Played by Ranbir) who remains deprived of his Father’s love & affection throughout his childhood. This makes him grow up as an extremely violent and obsessive man who goes to every extent to seek validation in the eyes front of his father Balbir Singh (Played by Anil Kapoor) & leaves no stone unturned in protecting him at all costs. However, despite his numerous attempts, Ranvijay fails to make his father feel proud of him & the same keeps driving him crazy.
Besides Ranbir and Anil, the film also featured a number of acclaimed actors including Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri in key roles. It was released on big screens last year on December 1st under the banner of T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures & Cine1 Studios.
