New Delhi: Ever since the release of his latest crime drama Animal, Sandeep Reddy has remained the talking point on social media for various reasons.

Currently, his blockbuster flick is not only amassing monumental money at the BO but is also attracting a lot of attention from fans on social media.

While some are hailing Ranbir’s exceptional acting in the film, others are going gaga about the actor’s viral intimate scenes with Tripti Dimri who was playing the character of Zoya Riaz in the film.

Meanwhile, Animal’s director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has also finally spoken about the film’s bold & controversial scenes in a recently held interview.

Besides that, the Kabir Singh director has also teased the fans by giving a hint about the story of the Ranbir starrer’s sequel titled “Animal Park.”

Sandeep Reddy on Ranbir and Tripti’s intimate scene

Talking about several aspects of Animal in a chat with Galatta, Sandeep unveiled what was inside his mind that propelled him to feature Ranbir and Tripti Dimri’s highly intimate scene in his movie. He revealed that the purpose of showcasing the intimate scene was to build a distinct contrast between Tripti Dimri (Zoya) and Rashmika Mandanna’s (Geetanjli) characters in the movie.

Interestingly, Sandeep also said that the shot featuring a kiss between Ranbir and Tripti was not a part of the film initially and the original plan was just to show the two actors getting close before cutting to a shot that would see them lying on top of each other on the bed.

However, during the review of the film’s edit, Sandeep realized that he needed something more steamy to make the shot look effective, leading to the inclusion of the passionate kiss shot between the two. Sandeep further added that he went ahead with the kissing scene to ensure that the value of the shot didn’t get compromised at all.

“Thodi to warm up dikhana padega nahi toh audience will be like Kya ho raha hai?’” Sandeep remarked.

Dropping an exclusive hint about Ranbir and Tripti’s chemistry in the next part of Animal titled ‘Animal Park’, Sandeep commented that the sequel of the film will dwell deep into their relationship and will try to explore the same.
