New Delhi: Just a week has passed since its release on the big screens and Ranbir’s Animal is already on its way to becoming one of the most successful Hindi films of all time.
At the Box Office, the film is continuously slaying one after another record by amassing bumper amounts of money from the ticket windows.
So far, in its week-long theatrical run, Ranbir starrer has garnered Rs 527 crore at the box office and is now rapidly marching towards making its entry into the prestigious 600 crore club in the coming days.

Apart from making huge amounts of money at the BO, Animal has also established Ranbir as the next superstar of the Bollywood industry, who is now looking right into the eyes of the industry’s veteran megastars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
2023: Bollywood’s redemption year
So far, the year 2023 has been nothing less than a blessing for the Indian film industry. Throughout the year, fans witnessed the industry’s megastars making and shattering numerous BO records with their blockbuster films like Pathan, Gadar, Jawan, Tiger 3, and many more.
However, out of all these films, Shah Rukh’s Jawan stayed a step ahead of the rest and made several unmatched records that no Indian film will be able to break anytime soon, including Ranbir’s recent blockbuster Animal.

Animal vs Jawan vs Tiger 3 Box Office Battle
During its first week in the theaters, Ranbir’s Animal made a massive collection at the Box Office and crushed Salman Khan’s Diwali release Tiger 3 effortlessly.

While Tiger 3 did a decent business of Rs 220 crore (India) on the BO in its first week, Animal zoomed past its collection effortlessly by amassing 340 crores (India) in the same time period.
However, despite its unmatched craze and buzz amongst the fans, the film failed to beat Shah Rukh’s blockbuster Jawan which earned an earthshattering amount of Rs 369 crore (India) during its first week in the theaters.
This in itself speaks for the power of Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom and the groundbreaking success of his phenomenon flick Jawan, which will undoubtedly go as one of the most Indian films in the history books.

Meanwhile, with its Box office collection already putting it on the pedestal of the 4th highest-grossing film of 2023, it will be interesting to see how far Ranbir’s Animal goes and how many records it breaks in the coming days.
