New Delhi: This December, moviegoers will witness an ultimate showdown between two iconic Bollywood superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal when their ambitious films clash against each other at the Box Office.
While Ranbir will arrive at the cinemas with his eagerly awaited crime-drama Animal, Vicky will challenge him with his compelling biographical war drama Sam Bahadur.
With both films amassing an impressive pre-release buzz, let’s see who amongst the two is leading the race of advanced booking collections ahead of its grand release on December 1, 2023.

Speaking of Ranbir’s Animal, Sandeep Ready’s directorial is going to be a Pan Indian release and will arrive at the BO in 5 different languages including Hindi, Kannada Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
However, the majority of the film’s advance sales have come from its 10,000+ Hindi shows, from where it has amassed a whopping sum of Rs 17.1 crore by selling 5.78 tickets. (approx)
Coming to the film’s advance booking collection from the ticket sales for its Telugu and Tamil shows, we see that Animal has earned about 2.44 crore (Telugu) and 7.17 lakh (Tamil ) ahead of its eagerly awaited release.
So overall, Animal has collected about 19.7 crores by selling about 7.50 lakh tickets through its advance booking which is more than 10 times in comparison with Sam Bahadur’s advance booking collection.

The Advance booking collection of Vicky’s Sam Bahadur is currently way behind Ranbir’s flick. It has so far garnered around Rs 1.81 crore rupees by vending about 58,000 tickets for its 3000 shows.
However, before jumping to any conclusion, we must consider the big difference in the budget of both films. While Ranbir’s crime drama boasts a gigantic budget of Rs 100 crore (approx), Vicky’s Sam Bahadur has been made with a relatively lower budget of Rs 55 crore.
