New Delhi: On December 1, 2023, the films Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, were both released in theatres, and they caused a battle at the box office. Now, the films will make their debut on the over-the-top services on this Republic Day, which will once again cause them to clash with one another.
1. Animal
The plot of the film focuses on a father who is often distant from his son’s life owing to his job commitments. He is unable to appreciate the depth of his son’s passionate love and adoration, which results in a dispute between the two.
One of the highest-grossing films of 2023, Animal opened in December and grossed over Rs 900 crore globally and over Rs 550 crore in India. Now, on Friday, the picture will finally be available on digital platforms, after breaking records at the box office.
The complicated father-son dynamic is the subject of Animal, which features Ranbir Kapoor with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashimka Mandana, and Tripti Dimri.
When and Where to Watch?
The action-drama film, which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is scheduled to be available for streaming on the OTT giant Netflix all around the globe beginning at midnight on January 26, 2024.

2. Sam Bahadur
Sam Manekshaw’s extraordinary life is chronicled in the war biopic that was directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by RSVP Production. Beginning with his early days as the chief of Army staff and ending with his retirement, the film explores the significant milestones and achievements that he achieved throughout his illustrious journey.
Even though it clashed with Animal, the picture nevertheless managed to make over 100 crore rupees worldwide upon its December 2023 theatre premiere.
In addition to Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub are also included in the ensemble cast of Sam Bahadur.
When and Where to Watch?
Zee5, an OTT giant portal, has announced the Sam Bahadur digital release, which stars Vicky Kaushal. In observance of the 75th Republic Day, the biographical film will premiere on Zee5 on Friday, January 26, 2024.
