New Delhi: Nayanthara plays the main role in the culinary drama Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food, which tells the story of Indian cuisine. Additionally, Jai and Sathyaraj play significant parts in the film, which is Nilesh Krishnaa’s first time directing a film. Early in this month, the culinary drama was made available to the public, and it was met with reviews that ranged from positive to negative overall.

Plot
Annapoorani, a young lady dreams of becoming a world-renowned chef. She comes from a strict Brahmin household that is vegetarian, but she wishes she knew more about non-vegetarian cuisine to become a good chef. This is a problem since her father prepares the prasad that is served at the Srirangam temple as a priest. Additionally, he thinks his daughter Annapoorani is the next Annapurna, the Hindu deity of food. Despite everything, Annapoorani keeps going for her goals and aspirations.

Other Details
Newcomer Nilesh Krishnaa helms the film starring Lady Superstar. The film, produced by Zee Studios, Naad Studios, and Trident Arts and co-financed by Jatin Sethi and R. Ravindran, contains an ensemble cast that includes Redin Kingsley, Achyuth Kumar, and KS Ravikumar, among many others. Cinematography is handled by Sathyan Sooryan, editing is done by Praveen Anthony, and music is created by Thaman S for the Nayanthara starrer.
