Annapoorani, played by Nayanthara, aspires to be a chef, and the trailer video gives a little introduction to her in the film. She needs knowledge of different types of meat to fulfil her ambitions.
But Annapoorani comes from a line of strict Brahmin vegetarians. On top of that, she is the one who prepares the hallowed meals served at the temple as her father is also a priest there. Still, Annapoorani goes for her dream, even going so far as to enter a cooking competition and enrol in a culinary school. Along the way, she faces many challenges, some of which originate inside herself and others from outside forces.
The video also showed societal implications including the religious restrictions on specific foods, the challenge a woman confronts in entering a male-dominated sector, and more. Nayanthara’s character enjoys cooking and eating in the trailer, while her family members do their spiritual obligations.
