New Delhi: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which had a limited rental run on Amazon Prime Video, is now ready for its official over-the-top debut in India.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, based on DC Comics, is the fifteenth and final instalment of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) after Aquaman (2018). The Safran Company, Domain Entertainment, Atomic Monster, and DC Studios worked together to make it.
Months after the film’s theatrical debut in the United States, where it grossed over $434 million, Warner Bros. had already confirmed the release date for Max. On May 21, Jio Cinema will finally begin streaming the DC Extended Universe film series, which stars Jason Momoa. The producers are crossing their fingers for a positive reception on OTT after the film’s dismal critical reception in theatres.
Plot
The ventures of Arthur Curry are chronicled in the superhero film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. It follows 2018’s Aquaman and is a sequel to that film. Part one of the film focuses on Arthur discovering his abilities and his future as a superhero.
In raising him, his mother instilled in him a sense of right and wrong. As part of his training, he crosses paths with Mera, queen of his home planet of Atlanta. In the film’s second act, Arthur marries Mera and becomes king.
Once again empowered, the villain Black Manta travels back to Atlanta intending to destroy the aquatic world in this flick. Because of Aquaman’s role in his father’s death, Black Manta is out for vengeance. Equipped with the might of the Black Trident, he transforms into a powerful adversary. Aquaman teams up with his imprisoned brother, to protect Atlantis. The kingdom is their responsibility.
When and Where to Watch?
May 21, 2024, is when the film is set to premiere. At long last, people in India will be able to see this DCEU movie thanks to Jio Cinema.
