New Delhi: It seems like the digital release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be happening sooner than anticipated. Speculation has it that on January 23, 2024, the digital and video-on-demand versions of Aquaman will finally be available.
One of the most divisive films ever made was Aquaman 2, which premiered on December 22, 2023. Despite the lack of an immediate plot, it has been the subject of numerous controversies since its announcement and throughout production. The film has now established the streaming date on OTT as it nears the end of its month in cinemas.
The film concludes the Aquaman narrative, which Jason Momoa began in the first film, and is the fifteenth instalment in the DC Extended Universe.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, directed by James Wan, continues Arthur Curry’s narrative and introduces a more formidable Black Manta. Since Arthur was legally responsible for the death of Aquaman’s father, he has returned to destroy everything that matters to the hero. In addition to an ensemble cast, the film features Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul-Mateen ll, and Patrick Wilson.
Even worse than the weakest Marvel Cinematic Universe film, the film’s opening statistics were rather concerning. However, it quickly gained enough pace to surpass its budget and avoid further scrutiny. There was a $109.8 million domestic haul and a $268.4 million international haul, bringing the total box office collection for the film to $378.2 million.
