New Delhi: Brahmastra, the big banner movie starring Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt released on Disney + Hotstar OTT platform on November 4 and the movie aficionados are having a good time watching the flick.
The blockbuster movie, which was expected to ring in hundreds of crores at Box office, bore the brunt of boycott call and got removed from multiplexes much earlier than expected. The movie struggled to recover its production cost as it was made on an enormous cost. The movie suffered major financial losses and lost out on the numbers game.
The movie also came in the crosshairs of right-wing activists who raked up old videos of Ranbir Kapoor making fun of Hindu deities & gods. For days, Boycott Brahmastra remained the top trend, thus severly impacting its revenue.
However, the movie is proving to be a runaway hit after the flick started streaming on Disney + Hotstar. And, the fans are liking it very much.
So much so that many are also regretting the fact that they missed watching the movie on big screen. Many are accepting the fact that they should have not blindly followed the boycott gang & rather given a movie a chance.
Plenty of netizens commented on their regret & missed opportunity to watch the blockbuster movie in theatres.
Wow. #Brahmastra is an incredible movie, both visually & concept-wise. Wish I had been able to watch it in theaters. First time I’ve watched a movie at home without picking up my phone in years. I cannot WAIT for part 2…..whenever that will be. #BrahmastraOnHotstar #Bollywood pic.twitter.com/LdK4jHrSL7
