As KGF 2 clocks Rs 500 crore in 4 days, comparing it with RRR & Bahubali at BO

New Delhi: KGF Chapter 2 taken the Box Office by storm and with audience making a beeline for theatres, the movie is raking in the moolah globally. On Day 4 of its release, the movie surpassed Rs 500 crore mark worldwide.

Ever since its release, the movie is yet another blockbuster from Southern Film Industry after RRR to create a Tsunami at the Box Office. The movie has been on a rampage and is going in full steam in the first week.

Also, the Hindi version of KGF Chapter 2 is on cloud nine with the movie grossing almost Rs 150 crore in just 3 days of release.

KGF Chapter 2 is a sequel to Kannada blockbuster KGF Chapter 1. Directed by Prashanth Neel and lead role played by Yash, the movie is about an underdog turning into violent gangster. Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj also have a cameo role in the sequel.

KGF 2 Vs RRR Vs Bahubali

The tremendous opening of KGF 2 has prompted cine experts to compare the movie with other all-time hits like RRR & Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
KGF 2 was in the making for over 2 years as Covid-19 pandemic caused major delays. Though it released on a weak note on April 14 but just after it hit theatres, the box office erupted.

Buzz & hype around the movie was almost same as Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 and RRR and it lived upto its promise also by doing a business of around 280-290 crore (all languages) in just 3 days however, it just missed the benchmark set by two of most popular movies.
