Atlee drops hint about different OTT version of SRK’s ‘Jawan’

When asked about the possibility of ‘Jawan 2’, Atlee Kumar shared, “Most of my films have such endings, and I never had plans for sequels.

New Delhi: Atlee’s movie ‘Jawan’ has been a huge hit all around the world and has received immense love and appreciation from viewers. The film has already surpassed Rs 400 crore in India and has collected over Rs 700 crore globally. Even though fans have watched the movie in theaters, they are eagerly awaiting its release on OTT platforms. In a recent interview, Atlee mentioned that he is planning to do something unique and wants to pleasantly surprise the audience.

Atlee hints Jawan’s OTT Version

During a recent interview, the director of ‘Jawan’ shared some interesting details. Along with discussing the ongoing success of his Hindi project, he also revealed that he is working on something exciting for the OTT release of ‘Jawan’.

When asked about the possibility of a longer and unseen version of the film for the web, the director replied, “We have already balanced the emotions and length appropriately for the theatrical version. However, for the OTT release, we are exploring a different rhythm. So yes, we are working on something and that’s why I postponed my holiday. I want to surprise all of you, so let’s see what we come up with.”

Considering the positive response from the audience, making a sequel to the blockbuster movie seems like a good idea. The open ending of the film has sparked speculation among cinephiles about a potential franchise. When asked about the possibility of ‘Jawan 2’, Atlee Kumar shared, “Most of my films have such endings, and I never had plans for sequels. However, I am open to the idea. If a strong concept comes to me, I will certainly consider it. For now, I have left it open-ended. I may come up with a sequel in the future, but I will definitely come up with something new.”
