New Delhi: Amid the ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine, many people lost their homes and the country is also struggling to get funds. Seeing the struggle of war-torn Ukraine and its people, thousands of people are coming up with donations and funds. On a much similar note, many people showered dollars on two Gujarati folk singers. The video of the incident is doing rounds on the internet. In the video, one can see both the singers are performing soulful renditions of popular folk songs in traditional ethnic attire. The singers are Gitaben Rabari and Sunny Jadhav from Gujrat. Among those who showered money mostly are NRI enthusiasts. The Manpasand group was responsible for the management of the performance. After the video went viral, Rabari also took to her Instagram account to share glimpses of her performance in some photos. According to the reports, the show was organised by the Surat Leuva Patel Samaj (SLPS). The organisers managed to raise $3,30,000 or nearly INR 2.5 crore. After Gitaben Rabarivideo from Dallas went viral on social media, she further shared some photos of her performance that was held in Georgia, Atlanta. She also thanked the audience for showering their love. In the photos, one can see Jadhav is sitting next to her amid currency notes scattered around them.
